{"id":5480,"date":"2024-11-12T14:06:38","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T12:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthandfood.taltech.ee\/?post_type=research&#038;p=5480"},"modified":"2026-03-04T14:41:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T12:41:15","slug":"it-didactics-research-group","status":"publish","type":"research","link":"https:\/\/healthandfood.taltech.ee\/en\/researches\/it-didactics-research-group\/","title":{"rendered":"IT didactics research group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Creativity Matters IT Didactics Research Group is a multidisciplinary team specializing in higher education IT didactics.<\/p>\n<p>The main research areas include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AI didactics for research and teaching<\/li>\n<li>Use of telepresence robots and robotic assistants in higher education and healthcare<\/li>\n<li>innovative blended and web-based teaching methods,<\/li>\n<li>Integration of STEAM approaches into IT education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The group leads several ongoing projects funded by the European Commission (Erasmus+ and CERV programmes), the Estonian Research Council, and the Estonian Centre for International Development. These projects focus on upskilling IT students\u2019 competencies, developing hybrid intelligent assessment methods for the ethical use of AI, and creating skills development and study programmes in Kenya, Nigeria, and Armenia.
